I am Isabelle, mother of four, and a trained and certified Positive Psychology Life Coach. I am a caring person with a calming presence. Being the only girl in a large family of boys growing up, I had to find ways to create peace within my family. My personal and professional goals are the same: inspiring people to follow their dreams through making good life choices.
I was always called “the dreamer” in my family. I have been lucky in my life to follow my own dreams, including studying languages at the Sorbonne, getting my graduate degree at the University of Delaware and then going on to become a professor there. After teaching for 20 years, I felt there was still more work to be done. Having gained a lot of weight I started to look for answers. I saw therapists, dieteticians, nutritionists and yet the weight was still there. So I decided to take a different path in order to find answers.
One thing I truly believe is that life is full of surprises. After taking some life coaching seminars, and going on my own personal journey, I faced a turning point in my life. As a mom of fours kids with two little ones, a traveling husband and family an ocean away, I had to put my teaching life aside. I had to learn how to face the changes and challenges in my life by re-teaching myself to use creativity, music and painting as a stress-management technique. At the same time, after different trainings on nutrition, we changed completely the way we ate.
Very quickly I realized that I wanted to make a difference in the world. I wanted to help people in a different way and use what I like the most: communication and a softer approach to health.

My weight-loss journey is just starting and the road is long. This is why I became a Life Coach and shortly after that a Health Coach. I believe the two are intertwined.
I want to help women, especially stay at home Moms and young teenage girls, release the stress to embrace who they are.

My path is not complete, some of the weight is still here but now I know what to do and how to share it. I know I can make a difference by teaching you how to eat better thanks to health coaching and how to manage your stress thanks to life coaching. I believe motherhood is challenging and it is always nice to have someone else than your partner to walk the path.
My mission, should you accept it, is to empower you, to help you make changes in order to find balance and to find your best self. Through one on one coaching, Skype calls or workshops we can work together and find your best! It is within you!
